Le territoire concerné

Le Saint-Quentinois est situé au nord-ouest du département de l’Aisne, sur le plateau picard. Il est parcouru par plusieurs cours d’eau dont les plus importants sont l’Oise et le fleuve la Somme. Ce dernier prend sa source sur le territoire.

Saint-Quentin est la ville la plus importante du département. Détruite à 70 % durant la guerre de 1914-1918, la ville renaît de ses cendres, imprégnée par l’art déco. Elle est classée ville d’Art et d’Histoire.
